Institute of education and research of Rajshahi University has been established for maintaining the quality of education. In Bangladesh, the current situation of the education system is very much poor. This subject teaches us how to provide a country, a better education system. It works on curriculum, syllabus, teachers training education, Formal education, informal education etc.

  The Institute of education and research of RU started its journey from 2000. This institute took place on Syed Ismail Hossain Siraji vobhan. Now 350 students are studying in this institute. Total 12 teachers are teaching now in this institute, but the number of permanent teachers is 10, and 2 guest teacher. The director of this institute name is Dr. Md. Abul Hasan Chowdhury.

Four-year Bachelor of Education (Honors)

Every year divided into two semester. And totally eight semester a student have to pass to graduate.  For every courses 40 hours and 27 classes are attached and the duration of class time is 90 minutes. Indeed course teacher can take some extra classes. The average CGPA of a student have to minimum CGPA 2.00.
